Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems in Beecher City, IL is hiring a Commercial Driver to safely collect and transport waste and recyclables from commercial customers. You will operate heavy-duty vehicles, maintain service records, and communicate with dispatch while complying with DOT and safety standards.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional weekend work during peak seasons. The shift starts at 3:30am and averages about 10.5 hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment.
• Collect and transport waste or recyclables from commercial customers.
• Communicate with dispatchers and route supervisors regarding issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
