Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. in Kahului, Hawaii, seeks an experienced delivery driver to run daily routes, load and unload packages, and support the Transportation Department with hand-truck handling and palletizing as needed.

You will operate in a cross-dock model, ensure on-time deliveries, and maintain professional customer relations while following safety rules and pre-trip inspections. This full-time role requires one year of route delivery experience and a valid Class B CDL; English fluency for

Qualifications

• One-year route delivery experience or driving a straight truck.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred)
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for conversation with the public and for reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart, and place in designated customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures; contact management for invoice discrepancies; communicate errors/returns.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and Sysco policies and procedures.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Maintain ongoing inter-department communications related to routing, safety, and customer relations.
