Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver in Missouri. You will run daily routes, load/unload goods, and verify deliveries with customers.

A Class B CDL is required, with Class A preferred, and at least one year of route delivery experience is expected. You must communicate clearly and follow DOT safety inspections. Responsibilities include handling pallets, occasional loading assistance, and maintaining safe driving practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of route delivery experience or straight truck driving.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B; Class A preferred.
• Must read and speak English adequately to communicate with customers and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
• Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload product from trailer by hand or hand cart and place in customer storage areas.
• Transport product down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions.
• Lift up to 75 pounds; stack pallets with a hand cart; bend and twist while loading/unloading.
• Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; report discrepancies to management.
• Communicate errors/returns and assist with order shorts.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and Sysco policies.
