Job summary

Meridian Waste in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced CDL driver for a full-time, local, home-daily position. You will operate a front-load collection truck on assigned routes, perform inspections, and ensure safe, compliant service to commercial customers.

The role offers overtime, a regular schedule (50–60 hours/week), and a benefits package including health insurance and a 401(k) with match. Training is provided, and a sign-on/retention bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes certification.
• Commercial driver with two or more years of experience preferred.
• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks.
• Ability to operate a front-load truck and use associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a front-load collection truck to service commercial dumpsters along an assigned route.
• Transport waste to landfills or transfer stations as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Back and maneuver in confined spaces at customer locations.
• Maintain route records and disposal documentation.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers.
