Job summary

Republic Services in Quincy, IL is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow safety policy, and ensure regulatory compliance at all times.

Responsibilities include safely driving the route, loading waste, maintaining customer service standards, and documenting vehicle conditions.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B or higher with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and service each customer.
• Operate controls to lift, load refuse, and dispose at designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and others on a daily basis.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports.
