Job summary

NorthEast Electrical in Providence, RI is seeking a full-time Local Route CDL A Driver to join our growing team. You will operate a company truck, transport materials, and deliver to customers while upholding safety and accuracy at each stop.

Hours are Monday–Friday with a 6:30am start. The role rewards reliability, strong math skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a national electrical distributor network.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A license with a clean MVR for the past 5 years.
• RI Hoisting License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver material in a timely manner to customers.
• Maintain vehicle in proper working condition – conduct daily inspections.
• Load and unload trucks and move material safely using forklift, pallet jack, or handcart.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• May assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input per procedures.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as required by manager.
