Job summary

NorthEast Electrical in Providence, RI is seeking a Full time Local Route CDL A Driver to join our growing team. This role involves delivering materials to customers, operating a company truck, and ensuring safe, accurate handling of goods.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A license with a clean MVR for the past 5 years.
• RI Hoisting License preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that weigh up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Delivering material in a timely manner to customers.
• Maintaining vehicle in proper working condition – conduct daily inspections.
• Load and unload trucks using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• May assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input per established procedures.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.
