Job summary

Ryder in California seeks an experienced CDL-A driver for a local, home-daily route around Tustin. You will operate 40–45 hours per week, starting at 6:30 AM, delivering to a 100-mile radius. You’ll earn about $1,250+ weekly (roughly $26.33/hour) and receive comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Ryder provides paid training, 80 hours PTO in first year, uniforms, boot allowance, a 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license required.
• 9 months trucking experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass Ryder drug test and background check.
• Must pass DOT physical and Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Operate local, home-daily routes within ~100 miles of Tustin, CA.
• Maintain safety and compliance with all regulations.
• Deliver freight with a focus on reliability and timeliness.

• Hourly pay: $26.33 per hour
• Hours per week: 40 - 45 hours per week on average

Schedule, Freight & Equipment:

• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Start time: 6:30 AM
• Deliver solo to: 100-mile radiusaround Tustin, CA
• Tractor Type: Super Sleeper, Refrigerators, and Inverters
• TrailerType:Dry Van, 28', 48'
• Equipment: Electric and Manual Pallet Jack
• Ryder will train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Freight: touch - donated goods
• Cannot accept automatic restriction
