Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Local CDL A Truck Driver to safely and efficiently transport products from our warehouse to various customer locations. This role involves delivering and unloading products according to company standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Unload products using hand carts or manually, following safety and quality standards
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely, including logs and invoices
• Maintain food safety and sanitation protocols during delivery and in the vehicle
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through courteous service
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent; tractor trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and handling hazardous materials
• Ability to drive long distances, in various weather and terrain conditions
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavier loads with equipment

Work Environment

Work involves exposure to weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and potential hazards. Overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime are required.
