Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a CDL A driver to haul cement, mortar, and related materials to production sites in Texas. Local deliveries with home every night, safety-focused operation, and ability to operate pneumatic trailers. CDL A and clean MVR required.

You will coordinate with Dispatch and Production, maintain logs and paperwork, and ensure customer satisfaction while following all state/federal regulations. Overtime and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with pneumatic trailers is a plus
• Detail-oriented with strong safety mindset
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good communication skills and reliability

Responsibilities

• Transport cement, mortar, and other materials in a safe and timely manner
• Perform bulk pickups using pneumatic tanker
• Coordinate with Dispatch and Production to maintain material levels
• Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution
• Maintain driver logs, fuel tickets, and delivery documentation per regulations
• Operate tractor-trailer in compliance with state/federal laws and safety rules
• Provide routine truck and loading equipment maintenance
• Develop knowledge of materials handled and report issues promptly
• Maintain good customer relations
• Undertake other duties as needed
