Job summary

Oldcastle APG is hiring a CDL-A driver responsible for pickup and offloading of aggregate materials using a pneumatic tanker trailer. Local deliveries and returning home every night are expected. A current CDL-A license with a clean MVR is required, along with 2 years of CDL experience.

Applicants must have strong communication skills, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the DOT yearly physical. Benefits include competitive pay and comprehensive programs.

Qualifications

• CDL A license and clean MVR are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of current CDL experience.
• Must have strong communication skills and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must meet DOT yearly physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pick up raw aggregate materials.
• Safely dumping raw materials using end dump trailer.
• Transport concrete and other building materials to customers safely.
• Make assigned deliveries safely and promptly.
• Assist and supervise loading to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Receive invoices/directions from dispatcher and follow them precisely.
• Maintain records such as daily truck log and fuel tickets per regulations.
• Maintain good customer relations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report issues.
• Provide routine maintenance documentation for the truck and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
