Thedrivingdesk in Jacksonville, FL is hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for a local intermodal driving position. This role offers home daily time, 100% no-touch freight, newer equipment, and year‑round work in the Jacksonville market.

You will operate within a 250‑mile radius, handling intermodal containers, load pickups, DOT logs, and safety procedures. Competitive weekly pay, multiple shifts, and direct deposit are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Must pass DOT drug screen, background check, and MVR review.
• No more than two moving violations within the past three years.
• Safe driving record and stable work history.
• Comfortable operating around rail yards and intermodal terminals.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport loaded and empty intermodal containers.
• Pick up and deliver freight between rail yards, ports, distribution centers, and customer locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete DOT logs and required paperwork.
• Follow all rail-yard and terminal safety procedures.
• Maintain safe and on-time deliveries.
