Thedrivingdesk is hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver in the Austell, GA area. This role offers home daily time, no-touch freight, and a blend of hourly pay with mileage for steady weekly earnings.

Typical shifts include day, night, and weekend options within a ~250-mile daily radius. Applicants should have a valid Class A CDL, at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, and pass DOT requirements for a safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen, background check, and MVR review

Responsibilities

• Safely transport intermodal containers in local area
• Pick up and deliver freight between rail yards, ports, distribution centers and customer locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete DOT logs and required paperwork
• Follow rail-yard safety procedures and maintain on-time deliveries
