Job summary

4th Day Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver to operate within a 150-mile radius, handling 100% no-touch freight and sleeping in your own bed after every shift. Expect night shifts, weekly earnings around $1,600 to $1,700, and a strong emphasis on a steady daily routine.

Drivers receive a guaranteed home daily schedule, with 55–70 hours weekly and shifts Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat, including weekend work on this fleet. Hazmat endorsement is optional but preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card
• Must reside within 25 miles of the dispatch yard
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Hazmat Endorsement preferred, but not strictly required
• Solid driving record, clean work history, and mandatory drug screening

Responsibilities

• Freight Handling: 100% No-Touch Freight (Mix of live loads/unloads, preloads, and drop-and-hook)
• Running Radius: Operating within a 150-mile radius of yard
• Common Loops: Regional hub drops including runs into other yards
• Equipment & Gear: Slip-seat operation driving clean daycabs. Containers mounted directly onto bare chassis at the ramp
• Ramp Operations: Occasional 30 to 60-minute wait times for \"flips\" at the ramp when mounting containers onto DOT-legal chassis
