4th Day Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver for 100% home daily night shifts. The role involves pulling local containers with no-touch freight and a consistent night schedule, delivering a steady weekly earnings cadence. Expect 55–70 hours per week within a 150-mile radius of the dispatch yard.

You'll operate slip-seat daycabs, handle container mounting at ramps, and meet DOT medical and safety requirements. Benefits include health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Must reside within 25 miles of dispatch yard.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
• Solid driving record and clean work history; drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Operate local intermodal runs with 100% no-touch freight.
• Drive within a 150-mile radius of the yard.
• Handle container drops and pickups at regional hubs.
• Slip-seat operation; containers mounted on bare chassis.
• Occasional ramp wait times for container flips.
