Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to service rail facilities in the San Antonio and Laredo, Texas area. You will handle rail freight with drop-and-hook, live load/unload, and preloaded moves, while enjoying a home-daily schedule and two consecutive days off each week.

The role involves local intermodal routes, roughly 1,000 miles weekly, and requires a valid CDL-A, 3 months CDL-A experience, a clean driving record, and a DOT medical card. No SAP drivers are accepted.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Minimum 3 months of CDL-A experience.
• First-seat/solo driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to work with rail and intermodal equipment.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal routes in rail facilities.
• Freight moves between San Antonio and Laredo, TX.
• Approximately 1,000 miles per week.
• Home daily with two consecutive days off weekly.
