Job summary

Trucking Group UTAH is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for good pay and home daily in the San Antonio/Laredo area. This role handles rail freight with drop-and-hook, live load/unload, and preloads while offering daily home time and two consecutive days off each week.

The position involves local intermodal routes, about 1,000 miles per week, and a static schedule with strong dispatch support. Shift options include Day shift and Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months CDL-A experience.
• First-seat/solo driving experience.
• Clean driving record and DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work with rail and intermodal equipment.
• No SAP drivers.

Responsibilities

• Operate local intermodal routes between rail facilities.
• Handle drops, hooks, live load/unload and preload.
• Maintain home daily schedule with two days off weekly.
• Stay within schedule and adapt to freight/customer needs.
• Communicate with rail terminals and dispatch.

Join a local intermodal operation serving the San Antonio and Laredo, Texas areas. Drivers handle rail freight with a mix of drop-and-hook, live load/unload, and preloaded moves while enjoying daily home time and two consecutive days off each week.

Pay Details

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,100
• Additional $20/hour pay
• Drop-and-hook, live load, live unload, and preload work
• No bonus offered

Job Details

• Local intermodal routes in and out of rail facilities
