Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A local intermodal driver for a home-daily schedule serving the San Antonio and Laredo areas. You will handle rail freight, including drop-and-hook and live load/unload, with about 1,000 miles weekly and a static schedule supported by leadership.

Requirements include a valid CDL-A, at least 3 months of CDL-A experience, a clean driving record, a current DOT Medical Card, and ability to work with intermodal equipment. SAP drivers are not accepted.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 months of CDL-A experience.
• First-seat/solo driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card must be current.
• No SAP drivers are accepted.
• Ability to work with rail/intermodal equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform local intermodal moves serving San Antonio and Laredo rail facilities.
• Handle freight with drop-and-hook, live load/unload, or preload tasks.
• Maintain approximately 1,000 miles per week with a static schedule.
• Work with rail equipment and adhere to leadership guidance.
