Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A local intermodal driver for a home-daily schedule serving the San Antonio and Laredo areas. You will handle rail freight, including drop-and-hook and live load/unload, with about 1,000 miles weekly and a static schedule supported by leadership.

Requirements include a valid CDL-A, at least 3 months of CDL-A experience, a clean driving record, a current DOT Medical Card, and ability to work with intermodal equipment. SAP drivers are not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work with rail equipment and adhere to leadership guidance.

CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Good Pay | Home Daily

Join a local intermodal operation serving the San Antonio and Laredo, Texas areas. Drivers handle rail freight with a mix of drop-and-hook, live load/unload, and preloaded moves while enjoying daily home time and two consecutive days off each week.

Pay Details

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,100
• Additional $20/hour pay
• Drop-and-hook, live load, live unload, and preload work
• No bonus offered

Job Details

• Local intermodal routes in and out of rail facilities
• Freight moves between the San Antonio and Laredo areas
• Approximately 1,000 miles per week
• Work with rail equipment
• Static schedule with strong 24/7 leadership support
• Freight and customer needs may require schedule adjustments

Shift Details

• Home daily
• Two consecutive days off each week
• Available schedules include:
  • Day shift
  • Sunday-Thursday
  • Tuesday-Saturday
• Additional shifts may be assigned based on freight and customer needs
