Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. is hiring a delivery driver to handle palletized products on a flatbed. The role requires a CDL A license and clean MVR, with local deliveries and home every night. The job emphasizes safe operations, accurate records, and excellent customer service.

The candidate will perform pre-trip inspections, manage loading and unloading, and maintain vehicle and paperwork per DOT and company standards. A forklift certification and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL A required with clean MVR.
• Forklift certification required.
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills.
• Must be able to operate a gas-powered delivery trailer and standard transmission.
• Must have at least 2 years of CDL experience and a valid DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to job sites in a safe manner.
• Make and track deliveries in a timely fashion.
• Assist and supervise loading to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Maintain truck logs, fuel tickets and delivery documentation as required by law.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any concerns immediately.
• Develop knowledge of inventory, sizes, types, colors, and pallet packaging.
• Keep good customer relations and follow all safety regulations.
