Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Home Nightly CDL A Flatbed Driver to safely pickup and offload palletized products. Local deliveries are required with nightly home time. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL A with a clean MVR, forklift certification, and at least two years of CDL experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate effectively with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL A license with clean MVR required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Two years of current CDL experience required.
• Detail-oriented with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport block, mortar, and other materials to job sites via flatbed.
• Make deliveries safely and on time.
• Assist and supervise loading to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel tickets, and delivery documentation as required by regulations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any issues immediately.
• Obtain signatures and necessary paperwork for shipments and receipts.
• Operate tractor-trailer according to state and federal laws and company safety rules.
• Provide routine maintenance observations for the vehicle and equipment.
• Unload cargo in the safest available area at the job site.
• Monitor equipment and report issues affecting safety or delivery quality.
• Other duties as assigned by dispatcher or supervisor.
