Job summary

CRH plc through Oldcastle is seeking a CDL A driver for local deliveries in Alabama. The role involves offloading palletized products via flatbed, maintaining logs, and ensuring safe, on-time deliveries. A clean MVR and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, CDL A with at least 2 years of experience, forklift certification, and the ability to operate a gas-powered trailer safely. DOT physical required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport block, mortar, and materials to job sites safely.
• Make deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist and supervise loading to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel tickets, and delivery documents per regulations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report any issues.
• Develop knowledge of inventory, pallet sizes, and packaging.
