Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a CDL A delivery driver to pick up and unload palletized products using a flatbed. Local deliveries to job sites with home every night; a current CDL A license and clean MVR are required. Records and safety compliance are essential.

The role emphasizes safe driving, pre-trip inspections, and maintaining good customer relations while adhering to DOT regulations. High school diploma or equivalent is required; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL A license and clean MVR.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of CDL experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Transport block, mortar, and materials to job site in a safe manner.
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Receive from dispatcher invoices, directions and special instructions, and follow them.
• Maintain records such as daily truck log, fuel tickets, and delivery docs per regs.
