Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a CDL A delivery driver to pickup and offload palletized products using a flatbed. Local deliveries with home every night, requiring a clean MVR and the ability to operate a gas-powered delivery trailer.

Responsibilities include safe transport to job sites, supervising loading, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Qualifying candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, CDL A with at least 2 years' experience, forklift certification, and

Qualifications

• CDL A license with at least 2 years of current experience.
• Clean MVR and driving record.
• Forklift certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to operate a gas-powered delivery trailer safely.

Responsibilities

• Transport block, mortar, and other materials to job sites safely.
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner.
• Assist and supervise loading of trucks to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Receive invoices and directions from dispatcher and follow them precisely.
• Maintain driver logs, fuel tickets, and delivery documentation as required by law.
• Maintain good customer relations and conduct pre-trip inspections.
• Obtain signatures and return paperwork to shipping department.
• Operate tractor-trailer in compliance with state and federal laws and safety regs.
• Document routine maintenance and monitor equipment for issues.
• Inspect tires, brakes, fuel, oil and water; report problems promptly.
