Kloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver in Washington. You will transport steel service center products safely and efficiently under the direction of the Traffic Manager.

Responsibilities include maintaining CDL compliance, proper loading, securing loads, inspecting fleet equipment, and using new truck technology. A strong safety record and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Age 21+ required.
• CDL with proper endorsements required.
• Safe driving record required.
• DOT physical exam and drug test; subject to random testing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CDL compliance and maintain required CDL qualifications.
• Adhere to State and Federal highway rules and regulations.
• Load management and proper weight distribution before transport.
• Secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Protect products from damage during transportation and weather exposure.
• Inspect fleet equipment and maintain cleanliness.
• Support use of new truck technology and equipment.
• Maintain professionalism with customers, co-workers, and officials.
• Practice safe driving at all times.
• Prepare materials for unloading and supervise unloading at destination.
• Immediately report problems to Traffic Manager and authorities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate reliable work history and high attention to detail.
