Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Virginia is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for home daily routes on the third shift, with options to work Friday-Monday or Monday-Friday.

The role involves local deliveries in a 26-foot box truck and occasional 53-foot tractor moves, with an October start if needed at one of our Virginia sites. Candidates must have at least 6 months of CDL experience, be 21+, hold a valid Class A license and a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 26-foot box truck on most days, and at times use tractors moving 53-foot trailers around the site or on public roads.
• Touch freight and unload cages weighing around 50 pounds from the dock onto the truck and unload at destination.
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch.

CDL Class A Driver – Home Daily!

Monday-Friday 10:30pm-7am

or

Friday-Monday 10pm-9am

This third shift will begin in October. If hired early you will be required to work in one of our sites in Manassas or Bristow Virginia until mid-October 2026.

Pay rates starting at $30.50 per hour plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week. $2/hr shift differential for the night shift, and $3 shift differential for weekend night shift

About The Role

As a CDL Driver, you'll not only drive our equipment, but you'll also drive our success! You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. The normal daily duties require operating a 26-foot box truck making 3-4 deliveries per day on the campus. At times, you will be required to operate a tractor to move 53-foot trailers.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• Drive a 26-foot box truck on most days but will also use tractors at times moving 53-foot trailers in and around the site or on public roads
• Touch freight position. Role wheeled kitting cages weighing around 50 pounds from the dock onto the 26 foot box truck and unload them on the dock at their destination.
• Drive safely and adhere to all safety policies and practices
• Perform routine inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatch

What You’ll Need To Succeed At GXO

At a minimum you’ll need:
