Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

1. Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs, transporting product, replenishing, facing, rotating, building and taking down displays, maintaining signage, cleaning, and securing damaged product.
2. Managing backroom inventory by organizing, consolidating, and monitoring stock levels, and reporting issues.
3. Operating manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks and straddle stackers.
4. Completing store documentation and maintaining cleanliness.
5. Communicating with store and company personnel regarding status and concerns.
6. Identifying and reporting unsafe conditions.
7. Attending training and following company policies and safety regulations.
8. Utilizing mobile devices for work activities and operating a motor vehicle.
9. Providing customer service by resolving concerns, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

• At least 18 years old or meeting state legal age requirements.
• Six months of relevant work experience in related environments.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass a drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Certifications for straddle stacker and powered pallet jacks.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Manual transport equipment operation over distances.
• Ability to stand for 6 hours and walk 4 miles daily.
• Ability to read small to large print and perform physical tasks over sustained periods.
• Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
• Adherence to schedule, safety, and legal requirements is essential.
