Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs; transporting product; replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building and changing displays; maintaining signage; cleaning; and securing damaged goods.
2. Manage backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting discrepancies.
3. Evaluate and process damaged or defective products, re-pack as needed, and organize backroom materials.
4. Operate powered and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and straddle stackers.
5. Complete store documentation and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
6. Communicate with store and company personnel regarding status and concerns.
7. Identify and report unsafe working conditions.
8. Attend and complete company training and certifications, adhere to policies and laws.
9. Utilize mobile devices for work activities and operate a motor vehicle.
10. Provide customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and assisting in locating products.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. Must be at least 18 years old and meet legal age requirements.
2. Six months of work experience in physically demanding roles or environments.
3. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
4. High school diploma or GED.
5. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
6. Pass a post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience in problem-solving.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Certification in straddle stacker and powered pallet jack.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering objects and equipment; standing for 6+ hours; walking 4 miles; and performing physical activities over sustained periods. Accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
