Position Summary
Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.
Position Responsibilities
- Maintain product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs, transporting product, replenishing, facing, and rotating product, building displays, maintaining signage, cleaning, and securing damaged product.
- Manage backroom inventory, organize backstock, identify and report inventory levels, evaluate damaged product, re-pack, and organize backroom materials.
- Operate powered and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and straddle stackers, complete store documentation, and maintain cleanliness.
- Communicate with store and company personnel regarding store areas, safety concerns, and training requirements.
- Utilize mobile devices for work activities and operate a motor vehicle.
- Provide customer service by resolving concerns, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 18 years of age and six months of relevant work experience.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
- Pass a drug test and background check.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Beverage industry experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
- Certifications in straddle stacker and powered pallet jack.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering objects up to 50 lbs.
- Standing for 6+ hours, walking at least 4 miles per day.
- Ability to read small to large print and perform physical activities over sustained periods.
