Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities

1. Maintain product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs, transporting product, replenishing, facing, and rotating product, building displays, maintaining signage, cleaning, and securing damaged product.
2. Manage backroom inventory, organize backstock, identify and report inventory levels, evaluate damaged product, re-pack, and organize backroom materials.
3. Operate powered and manual equipment such as pallet jacks and straddle stackers, complete store documentation, and maintain cleanliness.
4. Communicate with store and company personnel regarding store areas, safety concerns, and training requirements.
5. Utilize mobile devices for work activities and operate a motor vehicle.
6. Provide customer service by resolving concerns, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 18 years of age and six months of relevant work experience.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass a drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Certifications in straddle stacker and powered pallet jack.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering objects up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for 6+ hours, walking at least 4 miles per day.
• Ability to read small to large print and perform physical activities over sustained periods.
• Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
