Position Summary

Merchandisers work in local stores to keep Coca-Cola products fully stocked on the shelves. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining product availability and merchandising products at all designated accounts.

Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To

1. Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs; transporting product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment (pallet jack, handtruck); replenishing, facing, and rotating product; building and changing displays; maintaining signage; cleaning; and securing damaged product.
2. Managing backroom by organizing and consolidating backstock; monitoring inventory levels; evaluating and processing damaged or defective product; re-packing; organizing backroom materials; operating powered and manual equipment; completing store documentation; cleaning backroom.
3. Maintaining areas of responsibility by communicating with store and company personnel; reporting unsafe conditions; attending training; following policies and laws; utilizing mobile devices; operating a motor vehicle.
4. Providing customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
5. Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Experience

• Must be at least 18 years old or meet state legal age requirements.
• Six months of work experience in physically demanding roles (warehouse, construction, healthcare, etc.).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Beverage industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience with manual or powered pallet jacks.
• Straddle stacker and pallet jack certifications.

Physical Demands And Work Environment

• Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling objects up to 50 lbs.
• Standing at least 6 hours, walking 4 miles per day.
• Ability to manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills.

• Overtime and punctuality are essential due to business needs.
