Job summary

ABF Freight in Minnesota is hiring for an hourly dock/yard and tractor-trailer loader role. You will perform pickup and delivery of cargo, load/unload, and operate a forklift as needed. Schedule may vary by terminal and location.

The position offers Teamster wages with overtime after 8 hours, health and welfare benefits with no premiums, six sick days per year and a pension/401(k) plan. A Class-A CDL with hazmat endorsements and DOT screening are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year tractor/trailer experience (training available).
• Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements; no automatic restriction.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT medicals.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Load and unload cargo safely.
• Perform tractor/trailer inspections and basic setup.
• Handle check-in and pickup/delivery of cargo.
• Other duties as assigned.
