Job summary

ABF Freight, part of ArcBest, is seeking a driver/dork handler role in Duluth, MN. The position involves pickup and delivery of cargo, loading/unloading, and forklift operation with schedule variability by location. A Class-A CDL with endorsements and a clean MVR are required, plus DOT requirements and a strong safety record.

The role pays $29.29 hourly with overtime after 8 hours and union benefits including health, welfare, and a pension plan. Must be 21+ and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience preferred; training available.
• DOT pre-employment drug screen and valid medical. DOT driving rules compliance.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver cargo within the service area.
• Operate a forklift when needed and perform loading/unloading duties.
• Complete routine paperwork and logs accurately.
• Adhere to weight distribution laws and safety requirements.
• Work varied shifts including days/nights/weekends as scheduled.
