Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Alabama to deliver equipment to customers safely, on time and courteously. You’ll be a company ambassador, interacting frequently with customers and representing United Rentals with pride, while returning home each night to your family.

You’ll operate trucks and trailers per DOT CDL-A rules, maintain logs, perform pre-trip inspections and help grow our trusted service reputation in the local market.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service skills and operate safely in a transportation role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Familiarity with DOT safety requirements and driving regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers
• Operate construction equipment and trucks in DOT compliance
• Maintain driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies to customers
• Other duties as assigned
