Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to deliver equipment to customers in a safe, timely, and courteous manner, with the bonus of home every night since we’re local. The role emphasizes strong customer service, safety, and the opportunity to grow within the world’s largest equipment rental provider.

You’ll interact with customers, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain logs, while leveraging knowledge of construction equipment to meet client needs and contribute to the company’s

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers ("low boys") per CDL-A.
• Adhere to safety requirements including FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain driver’s logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
