Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Class A CDL Driver in Montgomery, AL to deliver equipment safely and on time, representing the company with courtesy and returning home each night.

What you'll do: drop off/pick up equipment, operate trucks/trailers per CDL-A, maintain logs and complete pre-trip inspections, and suggest equipment as needed. Requirements: CDL-A, HS diploma or GED, 2+ years DOT driving experience, excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
• Safety-minded with attention to DOT rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment to customers safely and on time.
• Operate construction equipment and trailers per CDL-A.
• Maintain driver logs and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest additional equipment or supplies to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
