Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking Local P&D or City Drivers to shuttle freight between service centers and customer sites in the Albuquerque area. You will ensure timely, accurate deliveries with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with required endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Compensation reflects OD’s commitment to safety and excellent service and includes a tuition reimbursement

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL with double/triple trailers, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
• Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Must have 12 months tractor-trailer driving experience or completion of an OD Truck Driver Training program.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English; pass drug and alcohol tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload freight at service centers and customer locations.
• Follow instructions via two-way radio or phone; maintain logs and records as required.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle to ensure safe operation and compliance.
