Job summary

Parr Lumber Company in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Class A CDL delivery driver for local routes delivering building materials to residential and commercial job sites. You will operate flatbed trucks and truck-mounted forklifts, load and secure materials, and communicate with dispatch to complete on-time deliveries.

Starting early morning, you will be home daily with no weekend work and paid training. Candidates should have a clean driving record, DOT Medical Card, and strong customer service skills

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required and a clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card current; ability to pass DOT standards.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with forklift/Moffett and flatbed delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and on time to customer job sites.
• Operate Class A and B flatbed trucks and truck-mounted forklifts.
• Secure loads and verify accuracy before leaving the yard.
• Navigate diverse delivery environments including new developments and rural roads.
• Take delivery photos and complete documentation for each job.
• Communicate with dispatch, yard teams, and customers throughout the day.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and follow DOT safety regulations.
