Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Building Materials Driver in the Fife, WA area. You will operate a dedicated building materials delivery route across Washington and Oregon, with an average annual pay of $86,000 and frequent home time.

Expect 1,600 miles per week, daily pay opportunities for support freight, and yard/hostler duties as needed. Hand unloads and uses scanners for precise delivery verification.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to handle heavy items and lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners to verify deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials within WA/OR.
• Hand unload windows, doors, and related products at customer sites.
• Scan and verify products at each stop.
• Reposition load securement bars after every delivery.
• Assist with yard/hostler duties as needed.
• Work in both straight trucks and day cabs.
