Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a CDL Driver in San Antonio, TX. You will handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, and return to the yard with about 8 routes per shift.

The role uses an automatic 53’ truck for 40–50 hour shifts, with weekends off and home daily. You must have a CDL-A, pass a DOT exam, and maintain a clean PSP and driving record; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must possess a valid CDL license and DOT medical certification.
• Must pass a DOT physical and road test.
• PSP scores 10 or below preferred in last 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Handle local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook.
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 250 miles; about 8 routes per shift.
• Operate an automatic 53’ truck/dry van for 40–50 hour shifts.
