Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver to perform local truckload deliveries from Memphis, TN. This role offers a steady schedule, weekends off, home daily, and no-touch freight, with pay at $23.50 per hour.

You will handle drop and hook, drive an automatic 53' truck, and meet DOT requirements. Candidates should have CDL-A, be 23+, pass DOT physical, and maintain clean PSP and driving record.

Qualifications

• 1 year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Responsibilities

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within (# of miles) making about (# of routes) routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for (# of hours) shifts
