Gordon Food Service in Columbus, OH is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver (Customer-Focused) to safely operate a Class A vehicle on local routes and build lasting relationships with customers. You will be the friendly, professional face at each stop, delivering products and ensuring customer satisfaction while upholding safety standards.

Local day shifts offer home every night. Training and support are provided to help you succeed in a role that blends driving with confident customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL at time of hire.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to safely perform job duties.
• Successfully pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
• Clean driving record that meets DOT and company standards.
• Registered with the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local delivery routes.
• Build strong relationships with customers through friendly, professional service.
• Serve as a trusted representative of Gordon Food Service at every stop.
• Deliver food products while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Unload products using a two-wheel cart and ramp (cases up to 100 lbs.).
• Complete deliveries efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
