Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Columbus, OH is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver (Customer-Focused). You'll safely operate a Class A vehicle on local routes, build relationships with customers, and represent the company at every stop.

This role focuses on customer service as much as driving, with home daily, day shifts, and a schedule Monday through Friday. Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 per year plus weekly pay and benefits. Training and support provided; veterans encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL at time of hire.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to safely perform job duties.
• Successfully pass a DOT drug screen (including marijuana) and background check.
• Clean driving record that meets DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Registered with the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and able to provide electronic consent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local delivery routes.
• Build strong relationships with customers through friendly, professional service.
• Serve as a trusted representative of Gordon Food Service at every stop.
• Deliver food products while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Unload products using a two-wheel cart and ramp (cases up to 100 lbs.).
• Complete deliveries efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience.
