Job summary

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers in Portland, ME. Join a team that offers home nightly routes, modern equipment, and consistent schedules to keep you close to home.

You will be responsible for timely, damage-free deliveries and unloading trailers after each daily route, helping ensure great customer service for our clients.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience required.
• HazMat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to pass DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free to customers.
• Unload trailer at the end of daily routes.
• Represent Central Transport professionally and maintain customer relations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test
