Job summary

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers to join our Peoria location. You’ll operate local home daily routes with modern equipment and play a key role in on-time, damage-free deliveries to customers.

As a driver, you will be the face of the company, responsible for unloading trailers and ensuring safe, efficient service for our LTL network. A clean record and ability to pass DOT screening are required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUI within last 5 years (no more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight to customers on time and damage-free.
• Unload trailer upon completing daily route.
• Operate modern equipment and maintain safe driving practices.

Our Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are the face of our company and vital to our customer relations. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers’ freight is delivered on time and damage free. Our drivers also unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route.
