Job summary

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers at our Chicago Ridge, IL location. If you value home nightly routes, modern equipment, and a company with strong pay and benefits, this is the role for you.

Our drivers ensure on-time, damage-free delivery and handle unloading at day’s end, serving as the face of our service quality to customers.

Qualifications

• 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight to customers on time and damage-free.
• Unload trailer upon completion of daily route.
• Be the face of Central Transport in customer relations.

Our Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are the face of our company and vital to our customer relations. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers’ freight is delivered on time and damage free. Our drivers also unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route.
