Central Transport in Canton, OH is hiring Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers who value home daily routes and consistent schedules. You'll operate modern equipment and represent the company on every shift.

Responsibilities include timely, damage-free delivery and unloading at day’s end, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. Previous tractor-trailer experience and CDL requirements apply, with HazMat/Tanker endorsement obtainable within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Must have acceptable motor vehicle record and pass DOT drug screen with hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free, as the face of Central Transport.
• Unload trailers at end of daily route.
• Support customer relations with safe, efficient service.

Our Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are the face of our company and vital to our customer relations. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers’ freight is delivered on time and damage free. Our drivers also unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test
