Job summary

SRS Building Products - Osage Beach is seeking a CDL Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of building materials. You will verify inventory, follow DOT/OSHA safety protocols, and maintain strong customer relationships on site.

The role requires a CDL A with air brakes, 1–2 years of experience, and the ability to load/unload using forklifts or manually. Expect long hours and local travel within a 200-mile radius.

Qualifications

CDL Class A with air brakes endorsement and clean driving record.
18+ (21+ interstate) and able to pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify.
1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position Purpose

The CDL Driver at SRS ensures safety, timely delivery of building materials to job sites, verifies inventory, follows safety protocols, and maintains high service standards. This role supports operational efficiency and fosters strong customer relationships through professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries. Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, collaborate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos per company policy. CDL Drivers must be physically capable of long hours driving and handling materials up to 100 lbs. Responsibilities include loading/unloading with forklifts or manually, working in varied weather and noisy environments, and reading job-related documents in English.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a valid CDL Class A with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
Must operate forklifts/Moffett's safely, work in varied conditions, and communicate effectively in English.
Candidates must be 18+ (21 for interstate/hazmat), pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify, and verification via the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Clearinghouse.
1-2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include a Hazmat endorsement, strong vehicle maintenance skills, experience with multi-drop deliveries, and familiarity with fleet management systems.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, and multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer communication.
