Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice, a fourth generation, family‑owned foodservice distributor based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is hiring CDL A Delivery Drivers to service day routes departing from Flint, MI. We offer paid training to start, then a component pay structure that rewards productivity.

Most first‑year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week on a standard 5‑day schedule, with pay varying by route type and work ethic.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check free from felonies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled customer delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler and place product in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures.
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance client experience.
• Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas in all weather conditions.
• Lift, push or move products that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.
