Job summary

Ross Express, a New England premier LTL carrier, is seeking a CDL-A City Driver in Boscawen, NH. You will safely drive locally, picking up and delivering freight to nearby customers and returning home daily, including weekends and holidays.

The role requires 1 year of similar experience, a clean MVR, DOT medical clearance, and successful completion of drug and background checks. Competitive benefits accompany longevity and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of commercial vehicle driving experience required.
Must pass DOT physical examination.
Must consent to and pass pre-employment drug screen.
Ross Express requires a negative prior-employer drug and alcohol check for past 3 years.
Must consent to a 10-year work history check and explain any gaps.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with laws and company policies.
Pickup and deliver local freight to customer locations.
Maintain required records including logs and vehicle inspections.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
Interact professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries.
