Job summary

SRS Building Products - North Charleston is seeking a CDL Driver to deliver building materials safely and on schedule from the North Charleston location. The role emphasizes safety, inventory checks, on-time deliveries, and strong customer relations through professional conduct and teamwork.

You must hold a valid CDL A or B with air brakes, have a clean driving record, and 1–2 years of relevant experience. Expect long days within a 200‑mile radius, no overnight stays, and adherence to DOT/OSHA

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks/drug tests.
• 1–2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Able to communicate effectively in English; FMCSA Clearinghouse verification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, coordinate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos.
• Load/unload with forklifts or manually, operate within a ~200‑mile radius, and follow safety and OSHA/DOT rules.
